My Story
Neil D. Desmond is a short story writer based in Vermont. His story “Angels of Stockholm” won the 2018 Short Story of the Year Award by Adelaide Literary Magazine. The story is a nominee for the 2018 Pushcart Prize. His book “Angels of Stockholm: Short Stories” has been published by Adelaide Books of New York and is available on Amazon. His fiction has also been published in Blood and Thunder: Musings on the Art of Medicine, Vermont Literary Review, and Harbinger Asylum Magazine. He is on Twitter at @Neildesmondvt. Neil was born in Boston. His mother is an artist and his uncle is a published poet. He has a daughter who lives in Massachusetts. For Neil, storytelling is about taking readers to a different time and place, away from the here and now. A place where they can stay as long as they like and return whenever they wish.
